Terms of Reference for a Fact Checking trainer

 

Introduction:

Deutsche Welle Akademie in the framework of the ‘’Media in Libya – Immune against disinformation’’, funded by the German Foreign Office, is looking to engage a training to conduct a two day trainer on advanced fact checking tools for members of the Libyan Fact Checking Network (LFCN). The training will be held online during December.

The project “’Media in Libya – Immune against disinformation” aims to support the role of accurate and independent media in Libya’s transformation process.

 

Responsibilities

Under this section, the proposed methods for organizing the trainings will be identified. the following tasks:

  • Creation of the methodology and training agenda.
  • Interactive, engaging teaching matters ex. Discussions and activities.
  • Finalizing the methodology and training Agenda.
  • Conducting the (2 days) trainings.
  • Report on the conducted trainings.
  • Create an article on advance Fact checking trends.

 

Remuneration and Payment: 

Rate of payment to be agreed on upon selection. Please submit your signed offer in PDF Form for the desired daily rate for working day and preparation day along with your Updated CV.

Payment will be upon submission of invoice and timesheet after the training. The payment will be made in Euro via bank transfer.
